Why is a Twitter or X post unavailable?
Check deleted posts, protected accounts, quoted media, and upstream access before retrying a download.

Can you open the post directly?
Open the direct post URL in a browser. If it has been deleted, belongs to a protected account, or is restricted for your region or account, the download service may be unable to retrieve it. Being signed into X does not give the separate service your access. Do not share your login cookies.
Is the video inside a quoted post?
Media shown in a quote or reply can belong to another post. Open the post that originally contains the video or image, copy that direct URL, and retry. A screenshot of a video or a link preview is not a downloadable video attachment.
What if a public post works in my browser?
X may temporarily fail to serve metadata to the retrieval service. Wait before retrying and check another public post to distinguish one unavailable item from a wider outage. The tool cannot bypass source restrictions or restore deleted content.
